    Topic: Shooting on the move   CLICK HERE TO REGISTER   Prerequisites: You must have either attended a Pistol Fundamentals, or our Nevada Concealed Firearms Permit Course prior to attendance to this Foundry Session.    Description: Building upon the techniques learned in the previous sessions 1/4/2018 and 5/30/2018, we'll be shooting while moving and on reactive moving targets.   Exercises: Proper footwork for movement Moving smoothly in all directions Cadence drills   Loadout: 150-200 rounds (Primary) Multiple weapons systems are allowed however the focus of the session will be on Pistol from the holster Concealment garments are encouraged

    Topic: Defensive Rifle   CLICK HERE TO REGISTER   Prerequisites: None   Description: Starting with various rifle operating and sighting systems we then cover various sling, carry, and shooting positions.     Utah 0800-1300 Nevada 1000-1300 Lunch 1300-1400 Range 1400-`1900 This 1 day 10 hour class meets all requirements to obtain applications for Nevada, Utah, and Florida Concealed Firearms permits.
    Classroom time: 5 hours
    Range time: 5 hours

    This 9 hour class meets all requirements set forth by the Nevada Sheriff and Chiefs Association to obtain a Nevada Concealed weapons permit. (Course may be offered in split sessions, check course calendar.)

    Any professional grade leather or Kydex (plastic) holster sold for daily defensive carry for civiliains, security, or law enforcement. (Thigh and drop offset holsters are allowed)

    Inside the waistband (IWB) holsters are permitted if the holster retains its shape and does not collapse or prevent one handed re-holstering

    Inappropriate holsters:
    Holsters with exposed trigger or trigger guard
    Sport or Race gun holsters
    Soft form nylon (Velcro retention strap) holsters will not be permitted.
    No flexible cloth, or collapsible inside the waistband holsters.
    No vertical or horizontal shoulder holsters permitted
    No ankle, cross draw, small of the back
    No pocket, purse, fanny pack or additional "off the body" carry permitted

    Age Requirements:
    Minimum age for attending the course unaccompanied is 16. (Parents must sign the release waiver on site before leaving)
    Minimum age for attendance with a parent or guardian is 10. The parent is responsible for acting as the safety coach for the child. One child per parent participating.
