Nevada Concealed Firearms Permit Course

Classroom 0800-1100 Lunch 1100-1200 Range 1200-1700 This class meets and exceeds all requirements set forth by the Nevada Sheriff and Chiefs Association to obtain a Nevada Concealed Firearms Permit. (Additionally qualifies you for your Florida permit at no additional cost.) Contact us about obtaining a Utah State Permit

Classroom time: 3 hours
Lunch break: 1 hour (lunch is not provided) Map of food vendors in the area.
Range time: 5 hours $20 Range Fee

Requirements: Minimum age for attendance is 12 with guardian present. Must be 21 years or older to obtain applications for *Nevada*, and Florida permits. *Active or honorably discharged Military may be 18-20 to apply for Nevada permit.*
Prerequisite: None
Required Equipment:
1 Gun (We strongly encourage you to come study with the weapon you plan on carrying for self-defense.) Rental Weapons Packages 2 Magazines/ or 2 speed-loaders for the gun 100 rounds of ammunition for qualifying weapon A Hat with brim and wrap-around eye and hearing protection Rental Gear Packages

CANCELLED DUE TO HIGH WIND AND RAIN ADVISORY   Topic: Close Contact Combat Engagements   Prerequisites: You must have either attended a Primer, a Pistol Fundamentals, or our Nevada Concealed Firearms Permit Course prior to attendance to this Foundry Session , or another qualifying course (contact us for details).   Description: In this session we will be focusing on gun fights that can occur at arms length because your gunfight might start with a fight for your gun. We will cover protecting yourself long enough to access your weapon, as well as protecting your firearm from another individuals attempt to gain access to it.    Exercises: Body reference or Point shooting positions Defensive guards Striking Gaining distance Weapons retention techniques Weapon disarms      Loadout: 150-200 rounds (Primary) Multiple weapons systems are allowed however the focus of the session will be on Pistol from the holster Concealment garments are encouraged

Topic: 3 Weapon Workshop   Prerequisites: You must have either attended a Pistol Fundamentals, or our Nevada Concealed Firearms Permit Course prior to attendance to this Foundry Session. It is also encouraged that you have either attended both an Introduction to Defensive Shotgun, and an Introduction to Defensive Rifle course, or another qualifying course (contact us for details).   Description: During this session we will do a quick refresher on the operation of all 3 weapon systems (Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun) and then move into skill drills designed for the challenge stages to follow. We will challenge your balance of speed vs. accuracy, manipulations, and movement with each system.   Exercises: Shooting with movement Shooting on the move Shooting moving targets   Loadout: Pistol: 100-150 rounds Shotgun: 50-75 Bird, 20 Slug Rifle: 75-100 rounds   Multiple weapons systems encouraged (Rifle, Shotgun, Pistol) If you do not have your own, rental weapons are available. Concealment garments are encouraged
