Nevada Concealed Firearms Permit Course
Location: Clark County Shooting Complex Education Center. Drive in video.
Time:
08:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Classroom 0800-1100 Lunch 1100-1200 Range 1200-1700 This class meets and exceeds all requirements set forth by the Nevada Sheriff and Chiefs Association to obtain a Nevada Concealed Firearms Permit. (Additionally qualifies you for your Florida permit at no additional cost.) Contact us about obtaining a Utah State Permit

Classroom time: 3 hours
Lunch break: 1 hour (lunch is not provided) Map of food vendors in the area.
Range time: 5 hours $20 Range Fee
Location: Clark County Shooting Complex: Education Center

Requirements: Minimum age for attendance is 12 with guardian present. Must be 21 years or older to obtain applications for *Nevada*, and Florida permits. *Active or honorably discharged Military may be 18-20 to apply for Nevada permit.*
Prerequisite: None
Required Equipment:
1 Gun (We strongly encourage you to come study with the weapon you plan on carrying for self-defense.) Rental Weapons Packages 2 Magazines/ or 2 speed-loaders for the gun 100 rounds of ammunition for qualifying weapon A Hat with brim and wrap-around eye and hearing protection Rental Gear Packages

The fees paid to LVMPD are as follows: (updated fee list can be found here) *Fees to LVMPD may be paid by credit/debit cards, cash, money order or cashier’s check.

Sorry for the late notice, however we are going to cancel this evenings course due to unforeseen circumstances. To those individuals who were interested yet did not enroll please look ahead on the calendar to see when the next session covering this topic will be offered. Train hard.   Topic: Introduction to Defensive Shotgun   Prerequisites: NO PREREQUISITE REQUIRED    Description: We will review shotgun and gear selection from our previous session on 2/28/18 then move into loading/unloading, malfunctions, and manipulations.   Exercises: Understanding ammunition variations (Bird, Buck, and Slug) Patterning your shots at distance for good defensive groupings Loading, reloading, and clearing malfunctions Advanced manipulations for shell selection and single hand drills Shooting multiple adversaries Shooting on the move Loadout:
50-100 Birdshot 20-30 Buckshot 10-20 Slug Multiple weapons systems allowed however we will be focusing on Shotgun this session Garments that accommodate carrying of shells is encouraged

ADAPT Academy is again pleased to be the host for The Women of High Caliber.   Please visit their Facebook page for more information, show your support and come on out to these wonderful events for a great time, firearms, and fun with friends.   https://www.facebook.com/WomenOfHighCaliber   Attendance Fee is $15.00 Register here.   Presenter: ADAPT   Topic: Introduction to Defensive Shotgun - No classroom lecture, all range session.   Range Activity: Patterning demo, and guided range activities.   Loaner shotguns will be made available at no charge, please bring a pistol or revolver as well to shoot between taking turns on the shotguns.
