Introduction into Emergency Preparation

In this 8 hour continuation class students will receive information, participate in classroom discussions, work on creative problem solving exercises and create take home checklists to help aid them in preparing a personal, family, and workplace emergency preparation plan. Additionally there will be skill building activities, team challenges, and hands on field exercises involving using some of the covered course materials.

Survival essentials The four pillars of survival Preparing and stocking a 72 hour Kit (Bail Out Bag) Map and Compass Navigation Communication Knife skills Knot tying Shelter construction Fire starting Water purification
