BAER Modified Including the 2x2x2 Drill
By Eric Loden in Training Targets
The standards target was created to gauge your performance first thing in your training and at the end. We don't get to warm up in real life so this is shot cold, meaning no warm up. Suggested distance is 5 meters. As with anything, once you have gotten good at it go ahead and move back to 7 or even 10 if you can. If you miss, you fail, so be accountable for your rounds. 9 seconds or faster is passing. Ensure progress in your training. Getting complacent or comfortable keeps us stagnant, always strive to get better.
From the holstered position, hands off of gun at sides, on signal draw and engage left or right 6" x 3.5" rectangle with 5 rounds. Transition to other rectangle and engage with 5 rounds. Perform slide lock reload and engage center circle with 3 rds. Perform drill with 10 rd magazine first, 3 rd magazine second, and have a full mag prepared to get gun back up after drill. Once drill is completed, ensure you perform another slide lock reload to get your gun up and scan your sector/threat area The 2x2x2 Drill
This drill is performed on the 3"x5" box in the left grey box.
Fire 2 rounds from a concealed holster, both inside the box, in less than 2 seconds at 20 feet to pass.

NVSCA Training and Instructor Standards NV CFP
By Eric Loden in Nevada Concealed Firearms Permit Course
NEVADA CONCEALED HANDGUN TRAINING STANDARDS
Revised October 1, 2013 by the NVSCA
The Nevada Sheriffs and Chiefs Association (NVSCA) establishes the minimum training standards required for the issue and renewal of carry concealed handgun permits (CCW) and the minimum standards required to become an instructor for concealed handgun permits.
Authority for the NVSCA to establish these standards is provided in Nevada Revised Statute 202.3657
The following standards are the minimum required for the course of instruction which must be obtained prior to an individual applying for a CCW permit, or prior to the renewal of a permit.
Please review these standards thoroughly to ensure your complete understanding. The requirements are defined under the headings of Resident, Non-Resident, Instructor Qualification, and Instructor Disqualification.
All of these standards are a minimum requirement, nothing precludes an instructor from providing additional training.

Stealth Operator Holster Series Fit List
By Eric Loden in Information Packets
Stealth Operator Compact Holster
The Stealth Operator Compact is the natural evolution to the holster series, with a lightweight, minimalistic design that allows for comfortable, all-day outside-the-waistband (OWB) carry. The slim and simple profile coupled with an open-muzzle bottom provides ample barrel space for an incredible number of handguns.
The Compact holster features the same super-durable injection molded nylon shell, rust-resistant black oxide hardware, and robustly flexible design you'll find throughout the series. In addition, the Frame-Lock technology maintains positive retention across a wide range of firearm designs. Once your weapon locks into the holster, it will stay secure until you need it.
The Stealth Operator Compact will fit all Glock (except G42) as well as the following: Taurus (840, 24/7, 609, PT92, 809, and PT111); Ruger (SR Series and P95); Smith & Wesson (Sigma Series, M&P, and P99); Springfield Armory (certain XD and XDM models); H&K (P30, VP9, and P2000); Beretta (PX4, 92, 96, and 90/2); Sig Sauer (P224, P226, P229, and P320); and many more.
