Ready.gov is a website developed by FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security to educate and empower Americans to prepare for and respond to emergencies including natural and man-made disasters. The goal is to get the public involved and ultimately to increase the level of basic preparedness across the nation. Ready.gov is a great site for basic preparedness information and resources. We have condensed these resources and added a few other important links in the list below; we urge you to take some time to visit them, absorb the information and make a plan for next steps that are appropriate for you and your family.
